I am a composer and interdisciplinary artist, currently working with analog film. I like to merge different disciplines together defying conventional formats.

I’m interested in individuals without identity. Stripped of their past, belongings, attachments, they carry the very essence of existing. I’m interested in their struggles for self-definition, but mainly in their failure.

RESIDENCY IN HET HUIS UTRECHT

I had an amazing experience developing my research and project TRANSFE/\R during my residency in HET HUIS UTRECHT. Moreover, in the foyer, we build up an installation about my project, part of it is still there!

I’m very proud that my piece for Ensemble Black Pencil is part of the soundtrack of this beautiful project with the always amazing Black Pencil and the super talented choreographer Samir Calixto ! A big tour in the whole Netherlands, check it out!!!

TRANSFE/\R – AFK, Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds

My research on 16mm film and optical sounds has been awarded by AFK with a year long Stipendium. The research channels its results in the interdisciplinary project TRANSFE/\R. This project is made possible also also by Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds
